Hello and thanks for checking out my new blog.
I have traveled many places around the world, both for work and for fun, and have been encouraged many times to write a book about my adventures. I thought I’d start smaller and see where my blogs take me.
Why might you be interested?
Maybe you don’t have the opportunity to travel yourself. Maybe you’d like to see a bit of what the world of humanitarian aid looks like (a field which sees me going to countries which aren’t necessarily on the list of Top 10 Tourist Destinations). Maybe you just want to experience the world through a different set of eyes.
Not a travel blog
While I intend to write about my travels and share some amazing photos I’ve been able to snap, my blog is about more than hopping on an airplane.
I plan on writing about topics I am passionate about – animals (both domestic and wild), nature (definitely a tree hugger, but not in an activist sense), family and the people we choose to be our family. Maybe the odd sports blog about my beloved hockey team, the Toronto Maple Leafs (yes, I bleed blue!).
I hope you’ll let me know what you think so feel free to drop me a line now and then.
